My items are insured, if I lose one, I can claim for a new one from my insurance company. Why should I subscribe to Return 4 Cash Reward?

How much does it cost to subscribe to Return 4 Cash Reward?

Initial subscription costs £14.00 which includes 1 asset label and access to your own database where you can register what item, and to whom it belongs, you have attached that specific asset label to.
For Corporate customers this is equivalent to an I.T. audit.
Thereafter annual renewal costs just £12.00 and any additional asset labels cost £2.00 each.
You can renew your subscription or purchase additional labels at any time.
It is a very easy process, to begin just click on the link Subscribe and then fill in all the boxes with the required information and when you have done that click on “Next” which will take you to the payment system.
It really is that simple, we do all the rest and in a couple of days your asset labels will arrive in the post and you will be able to log in and access your own personal database.
What happens if I lose my Return 4 Cash Reward registered item?

If your lost item is found, and the finder is interested in the cash reward offered, he or she will contact Return 4 Cash Reward. Your lost item is then identified as being found, and finder's details are recorded by Return 4 Cash Reward, and a return envelope and instructions are sent to the finder. We also collect the reward from you that will be due to pay the finder for the successful return of your item.
The finder then returns your item to Return 4 Cash Reward and we send the reward to the finder after we have sent the returned item back to you and you are happy that the item is yours and that it is in an acceptable as it was when lost.
With one of our personalised asset identifier labels attached, should your item go missing, if it was merely lost it can be returned if found. If it is not returned the the police and your insurance company should appreciate that having a clearly marked the eveidence would support the likelyhood that the item has been stolen.
When do I have to pay the reward for the return of my Return 4 Cash Reward registered item?

We collect the reward due as soon as the item is reported found, and is verified by Return 4 Cash Reward that the items is registered with us and has a valid, current subscription.
The finder is paid the reward once the lost item has been received by you having been returned to Return 4 Cash Reward and forwarded unopened, thereby protecting both parties identities and ensuring the entire process remains anonymous.
Will Return 4 Cash Reward work anywhere in the UK?

Yes.
One big advantage of using Return 4 Cash Reward is that the system is not limited by geography. The system will work anywhere in the UK. So, even if you are travelling and you lose your item, you will get it back if the item is found and returned to Return 4 Cash Reward (subject to the payment of the reward).
What happens to my reward if my lost item is not returned to me?

After a certain period has elapsed (currently 60 days) since the sending of the return envelope and instructions to the finder, we automatically refund your reward, in full, to you.
Should Return 4 Cash Reward subsequently receive your lost hand held device, we will contact you and advise accordingly.
I have just upgraded my item, or bought a new one, can I transfer my asset label?

No, the asset labels are designed to be impossible to remove easily or in one piece to deter thieves and theft as well as providing potential repatriation, you will have to purchase an additional asset label for each new item. They currently cost £2.00 each.
Each item you register with Return 4 Cash Reward will have its own individual asset label. Your first subscription includes 1 label. Provided you have a current subscription you can purchase as many additional asset labels you may require. Currently each label costs £2.00.
Any additionally purchased asset labels will be automatically included in the current subscription and in any subsequent subscription upon renewal.
Almost anything you like, as long as the items concerned are decent, legal, portable, non-offensive, and the asset label can be attached to the item (see the labels page), and that you own the item.
Our durable adhesive is suited to all types of surfaces, such as plastics and metals and this high-performance material has an excellent initial grab and achieves a high bond once hardened (which takes 2 to 24 hours).
Where do I stand if my reported lost item is not returned to me?

This depends.
If your Return 4 Cash Reward registered item has been reported and verified as found, and we have sent a return envelope and instructions to the finder, but the finder has not returned the item to Return 4 Cash Reward, we will refund, in full, your reward. The refund will occur after a certain amount of time has elapsed (currently 60 days) since the sending of the return envelope and instructions to the person who reported that your lost item has been found. We will endeavour to get the item back from the finder on your behalf.
If the found item has been returned to us, and we are unable to collect the reward due for some reason we will keep the item in our posession until such time as we receive the reward from you, or after 60 days we sell the item for scrap or hand in to a lost property office
We obtain proof of posting for the sending of return envelopes and instructions to the finder, and ask the finder to obtain proof of posting when sending your lost item back to us.
We also obtain proof of posting when sending the item back to yourself.
Should the item be lost in the post, we are then able to claim against Royal Mail as we are able to prove postage.
Proof of posting is currently free of charge with the Royal Mail.

Why can't I change the value of the reward I have set on my item?

You can change the value of the reward for any of your registered items, up to the point where we collect the reward due for any of your lost items being reported found.
In the box input the unique serial number and if we recognize that as one of our subscribers then just complete the details of where you would like us to pay your reward, sit back, relax while we do the rest, and when you receive our letter put the item in the enclosed return packaging then just wait for your reward.
